Me – My name is Andriana Marin.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and now live in
Zadar, Croatia.
Things are much different here, especially when it comes to the food, which is why I decided to start writing. I love to read, decorate, cook, and take care of my Lola (dog). If I wasn't writing a blog about food it would be about home repair/diy/handywoman work. "Where there is a will there is a way" is the motto I live by. I love salads, french fries and beer.
D – Daniel is the love of my life and the reason I moved here in the first place. We live together in a small two bedroom apartment in Zadar.
He is the most critical person, other than my father (who is an executive chef mind you) when it comes to food.
This helps in some cases, but usually I want to rip his head off for such a candid opinion. He has the metabolism of a hummingbird (i hate him more for this) and is a pro soccer player. He loves his moms Pasta Fugoli.
Lola – Lola is our maltipoo pup who is notorious for getting into many of my blog pics.
She eats anything I make, god bless her, and is such a joy to have around the house. We drove over an hour to pick her up when we decided to get a dog. As I approached and stuck my hand into a a litter of pups, I noticed one would not let go, and that was our dear Lola. Since then she has been the light of my life and loves to watch me cook and eat (duh she's a dog.) She loves roasted sausage, potatos and pickles.
Mama B - Branka is Daniels mom. She is one of the best cooks I have ever come across, and everything she makes is beyond delicious. I especially love her French Salad and could eat my own weights worth, but it’s her style of cooking that inspires me to become a prava dalmatinka in the kitchen.
